East Penn Park & Recreation did a reading of the Declaration of Independence at Marvin Memorial Gardens on Wednesday evening. The reading would have been delivered via horseback so Bonnie David and her horse Flossi May attended the event.
On July 8, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was read for the first time in Philadelphia, Easton and Trenton.
