A motorcyclist was injured Monday evening in a crash in Tamaqua. The incident occurred at 6 p.m. along Route 309 near Shellhamer Lane. Apparently the biker lost control, laying the bike down along the northbound berm. The driver was treated at the scene by members of the Tamaqua ambulance before being transported to a nearby trauma center.
