July 12-17

• St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, North Weissport, 222 Church Street, Lehighton Vacation Bible School – Surf Shack will be held Monday, July 13 through Thursday, July 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. daily. Children age 3 through 6th grade are invited for fun stories, music, crafts, games and snacks. All children are asked to bring a white T-shirt or tank top for tie-dye fun. Registration may be done the first night of VBS.

• Kids Blast VBS, Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1349 Green St., Lehighton, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on July 16 to 18, and 11 a.m. on July 19. The theme is “Illumination” with games, crafts, prizes, and a bounce house on Saturday night.

• Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, “Road Trip: On the Go with God” for students ages 3 to grade 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. on July 27 to 31. Free registration by contacting the church office or signing up in narthex after worship. Teen and adult volunteers are welcome to help.

• Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Brodheadsville, is holding its VBS from 9 a.m. to noon, July 27 to 31. It will include “music-rooted Bible adventures and wild games,” as well as “tree-top treats, sticky Scripture and an “Imagination Station.” Adult volunteers are still needed.
