State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was found on a road in Pine Grove Township.

Police said Brian Staller, 42, of Pine Grove, was found deceased before they were called at 10:29 p.m. July 4.

Police said they were dispatched to the incident on Suedeberg Road in the area of Geary Wolfe Road. They are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 570-754-4600.

Police were assisted at the scene by personnel from the Pine Grove Ambulance, Pine Grove Township Fire Department, the North End Fire Department and the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office.
