State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:

• Michael Benjamin, 51, of Gilberton, is facing criminal charges after police made a traffic stop at 8:12 p.m. on June 2.

He was stopped in a 1998 Chevrolet on Interstate 81 in Delano Township, after which time police said he was driving while his license is suspended due to a DUI-related conviction. Police said it was determined the incident was Benjamin’s third offense.

• A 51-year-old Frackville man is the victim of a harassment by physical contact incident police were called to at the State Correctional Institution, Altamont Avenue, Ryan Township.

Police said the incident took place on Jan 31. The incident is being investigated in accordance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act.
