Angelo Marvelli. 47, Coaldale, was sent to prison for violating a protection from abuse order.
According to Tamaqua police, Marvelli was captured on the victim’s home security camera on the 200 block of East Water Street around 1:45 p.m. on June 27. Police said the order noted that Marvelli is not allowed near or inside the home.
Police also said Marvelli had an active warrant for previously violating the order.
Officers arrived at the property and saw Marvelli walking toward the rear door with items from the home. Police said he dropped a large kitchen knife to the ground, and was taken into custody.
Police said they found a crowbar and several empty bags in his possession.
He was arraigned and committed to the Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $15,000 straight bail.
