State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said that two vehicles crashed in Wayne Township.

Shaylee U. Miranda, 18, of Wernersville, Alivia Leary, 21, of Tamaqua, and Franklin J. Bergner, 81, of Pine Grove, all had possible injuries in the crash at 3:46 p.m. June 16 on Long Run Road.

Police said they were not transported from the scene.

The crash occurred as Miranda was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu too fast for conditions and failed to come to a complete stop at the intersection, police said.

The car struck a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu driven westbound on Long Run Road by Leary, police said. Bergner was a passenger in Leary’s car.

Miranda was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed, according to police.
