A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Monroe County sold a winning Powerball® ticket worth $1 million for the Saturday, June 20 drawing.
The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn, 16-20-44-48-50, but not the red Powerball® 15, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.
Sunoco, 631 North Courtland St., East Stroudsburg Boro, will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball® winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.
Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings automatically appear in a player’s account after the claim has been processed. Players may visit palottery.com for more information about how to file a claim.
More than 28,400 other PA Lottery Powerball® tickets won prizes of various amounts in Monday’s drawing, including more than 6,300 tickets purchased with Power Play® and more than 3,800 tickets purchased with Double Play®. Players should check every ticket, every time.
The Powerball® jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $312 million, or $141.2 million cash for the next drawing tonight.
