Tamaqua police charged a Lehighton woman with harassment after she slapped a Tamaqua woman in the face at 2:32 p.m. June 10 at a bar on the 300 block of East Broad Street.

The victim told police that Kandice Barachie, 24, Lehighton, slapped her in the face after the two exchanged words.

Barachie admitted to slapping the victim, police said.
