The Jim Thorpe Rays earned the 2026 Carbon County Majors Little League Championship after finishing the season with a 13-1-1 record.
The championship capped a memorable season for the Rays, who hit 15 home runs during the season.
“Winning the Carbon County Championship is something these players should be incredibly proud of, but what I’ll remember most is the way they supported each other all season long,” said head coach Jeff Kupstas. “From the first practice to the final out, they became a family.
“They worked hard, believed in one another, and created a positive team culture that made this season special. As coaches, we couldn’t be prouder of the young men they’ve become both on and off the field.”
The Rays’ success was supported by dedicated parents, volunteers, and Jim Thorpe Little League families whose time and encouragement helped make the season possible.
