One person was injured Monday afternoon in a crash in West Penn Township.
The crash occurred around 3 p.m. along Route 309 about a half mile north of the intersection with Mush Dahl Road.
The driver was traveling north when apparently lost control entering the right berm,mounting the guide rails, coming to rest on its roof.
The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning and Tamaqua ambulances before being transported to a nearby trauma center.
The West Penn Fire Company responded, aiding with the victim. Tamaqua fire police maintained traffic control at the scene reducing the three lanes to two. West Penn police are investigating the incident.
