Sarah Gross to perform at the Mauch Chunk Opera House

Singer-songwriter and rising indie-folk star Sarah Gross and her band the Killjoys return to the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe on July 24. This will be the singer’s third show and second headlining at the venue.

Gross’s genuine storytelling and heartfelt performances have won the hearts of audiences near and far. Her music unites elements of folk, indie, and alternative rock. Her diverse influences range from Bruce Springsteen and John Prine to Kacey Musgraves and Phoebe Bridgers.

She has been handpicked to open for artists such as Sammy Rae & The Friends, Bella White, Lawrence, Theo Kandel, Melt, Jade Bird, and more.

In 2024, she sang onstage with country star Zach Bryan at the USB Arena and appeared in a “Battle of the Instant Songwriters” segment on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

At the Mauch Chunk Opera House, Gross will be performing songs from her upcoming album “The Old Side of Being Young” as well as her previous records “The Killjoy” and “Songs from the Passenger Seat.”

The show will feature special guest Lydia Von Hof.
