Five Bears on EPC all-star softball teams

Five Pleasant Valley softball players received recognition on the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference softball all-stars teams.

Heading the list is Rylee Green, who was named to the Second Team All-Conference squad as a designated player.

Green, a freshman, hit .444 with five extra-base hits, 10 RBIs and 16 runs scored. She walked seven times and had an on-base percentage of .500 and an OPS of 1.093. She also stole four bases and pitched in 17 games, striking out 50.

Green was also selected as a First Team Monroe Division player.

Four PV teammates were named to the Monroe Division Second Team. They included Emma George at third base, Rylan Knapp at shortstop, and outfielders Emma DePalma and Bella Altemose.

Knapp led the team in batting average at .562, while Altemose hit a team-high eight home runs and finished with 14 extra-base hits. DePalma scored a team-high 29 runs.
