Local students were among the more than 850 students who were named to the spring semester dean’s list at Lebanon Valley College, Annville.

To be on the list, student must maintain a grade-point average of 3.4 out of 4.0.

Local students include:

Albrightsville: Kate Newsted is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in music education and is a graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School.

Barnesville: Allyson Babinsky is pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy and is a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School; Kaylee Senglar is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in psychology and is a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School.

Effort: Ian Wolff received a Bachelor of Science in digital communications and is a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School.

Jim Thorpe: Carlie Garner is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in communication sciences and disorders and is a graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School; Gabrielle Cinicola is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and is a graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School; Kate Malay is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in speech-language pathology assistant and is a graduate of MMI Preparatory School; Rosalynn Strohl is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in marketing and is a graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School.

Nesquehoning: Caitlyn Kovatch is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in nursing and is a graduate of Marian Catholic High School; Matthew Vecolitis is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in exercise science and is a graduate of Tamaqua Area Senior High School.

New Ringgold: Ashlyn Houser received a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience and is a graduate of Tamaqua Area Senior High School; Jacob Koch received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in ACS chemistry and is a graduate of Blue Mountain High School.
