The Lehigh County Coroner’s office said a 27-year-old Emmaus man was found submerged in a pond in the 8500 block of Allemaengel Road, Lynn Township on Saturday. He was pronounced dead at 6:03 p.m. at the scene.

As with all water-related deaths investigated by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensic Center, an autopsy will be completed at the LCCO&FC on Tuesday to assist in determining the cause and manner of death.

The decedent has been positively identified, and his family and next of kin have been notified, but his identity is not being released at this time.

In addition to the Coroner’s Office, the Pennsylvania State Police, Fogelsville Station, are also investigating this incident.
