Taylor, Simon, King music focus of show

The Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg is presenting “Taylor Simon King: Celebrating Three American Troubadours” on May 30 in an evening honoring James Taylor, Carly Simon and Carole King.

Produced by Oscar and Golden Globe winner Franke Previte and managed by Lee Shapiro, the former music director for Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, the show features three powerhouse vocalists, a six-piece band, storytelling and multimedia that bring these legendary artists’ music to life.

The performance stars Broadway veteran Lisa Sherman, acclaimed vocalist Sylvana Joyce and singer-guitarist James Gedeon, noted for his James Taylor interpretations. The band’s members have performed with The E Street Band, Bon Jovi, Loggins & Messina, Billy Joel and others.

Enjoy classics like “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Fire and Rain,” “You’re So Vain” and “It’s Too Late” in a night celebrating friendship, love and timeless songwriting.

Door open at 7 p.m. Showtime is at 8 p.m.
