Theresa Santai Gaffney, Schuylkill County register of wills and clerk of the Orphans Court, released the April report.

During the month, 87 estates were processed, 65 marriage licenses were issued and eight adoptions were completed.

Approximately $1.23 million in inheritance tax was remitted to the commonwealth, and the county collected approximately $27,460 in fees.
