Michael J. Marsh, 33, of Reeders, and Theresa J. Giovinazzo, 30, of Stroudsburg, were injured in a two-vehicle crash, state police at the Fern Ridge barracks said.

Police said the crash was at 1:24 p.m. April 21 at the intersection of Route 715 and Mountain Road, Jackson Township.

Marsh and Giovinazzo were transported by personnel from the St. Luke’s Emergency and Transport Services to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Monroe Campus, Stroudsburg.

Police said the crash occurred as Marsh was driving a 2014 Ford Escape southbound on Mountain Road when he failed to yield after stopping at a stop sign and entered the intersection, colliding with a 2014 Nissan Rogue driven by Giovinazzo.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Marsh was cited after the crash, according to police.
