The first ever “Skookstock” will be held beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Frackville Elks, 307 S. Third St., Frackville.
The music-filled event will benefit the local American Cancer Society.
The lineup includes area bands who will be performing every hour throughout the evening.
The entertainment begins at 4 p.m. with Sakes Alive, a classic rock/variety band that covers a range of music from the 50s to now. JFK, an acoustic classic rock band takes the stage at 5 p.m., followed by Another Side, a vocal-oriented classic rock band, at 6 p.m.
Waiting for Eyes, an acoustic rock ‘n’ roll duo, will perform at 7 p.m. followed by an 8 p.m. performance by Ricky and the Ricardos, a high energy rock ‘n’ roll band.
There is a cover charge. Food and beverages will be available. There will also be raffles.
