With two days of competition complete, South Carbon County has a commanding lead for the 2026 Senior Games.

The weeklong event includes 235 seniors from all over the county who range in age from 60 to over 90 years old.

The standings are North Carbon County, which is comprised of Jim Thorpe, Panther Valley and Weatherly senior center, at a combined total of 123; and South Carbon County, made up of Lehighton and Palmerton senior centers, 317.

Wednesday’s events included basketball shoot and darts. The results are as follows:
