The Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Allentown Office, reported the following citations have been issued to local businesses:
Fegley’s Mini Mart, with businesses in Tamaqua and McAdoo, was cited twice for violations of the state’s liquor laws.
Police said from Feb. 11 to March 11, the Tamaqua business failed to notify the state Liquor Control Board of a change in manager, while the McAdoo business committed the same violation for the period of March 7-12.
Police also said Hang Loose, 300 Broad Street Inc. of Tamaqua, was cited for violating state laws for the period of Dec. 18, 2025, through March 16 of this year. The violation is for failure of the business to ensure a board-approved manager completed owner/manager training within the past two years.
The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. The judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge and can also mandate training for the licensee.
