Lansford Borough Office will remain closed until Monday, May 11, due to unforeseen staffing needs.

Payments for sanitation and sewage transmission fees can be made online by the borough website: www.boroughoflansford.com.

People can also place checks or money orders only in a sealed envelope in the drop box outside the borough office, 1 W. Ridge St.

Rental license submissions and payments can be emailed to contactus@lansfordboro.com and payments can be made on the borough website or left in the drop box.

All payments will be processed on May 11, and no late payment penalties will be assessed, Council President Joe Genits said.

Questions or concerns can be emailed to contactus@lansfordboro.com and will be reviewed once the office reopens Monday. Code complaints can be submitted to code@lansfordboro.com.

Borough council meetings scheduled for tonight will be held. A council workshop is scheduled for 5 p.m., and a special meeting at 6 p.m. Council’s regular meeting is still on for May 13.
