A family-owned business in Palmerton that offers a wide variety of men’s and women’s Carhartt workwear, Ariat workwear, and Red Wing footwear and products is closing.
My Store, located at 418 Delaware Ave., posted Monday on Facebook that they have decided to close due to recent family tragedies, according to its owner, Dana Massey.
“I would like to sincerely thank the amazing community for all their support over the last three years,” the post states. “Due to all the personal hardships in our lives, I have decided to close the business and be home with my children so we can continue to heal.”
Massey said they will have a storewide liquidation sale April 27 through May 30.
Contacted Monday morning, Massey expressed her profound gratefulness to the community.
“Thank you to the customers, the community for coming out and supporting us,” she said. “This community has given us so much support; I can’t thank the people enough for what they’ve done for us.”
Massey, who owned the business for four years, added, “I’m sorry to have to close it (due to recent family tragedies).”
She also said Monday morning that they will be closing Palmerton Flowers and Gifts as well.
