After Dave Bonner’s base hit in the bottom of the seventh ties the game for the Panthers, Joe Siegenfuse leads off the eighth with a walk. After a sacrifice and a wild pitch, Gregg delivers his clutch hit. Ken Frantz contributes a two-run single to the winning effort, while Clem McCarroll adds an RBI hit and Gregg also connects for a double.
