The Allentown Bomb Squad has contained a suspicious package found at the American Legion post in Lehighton.

The package has been removed and the scene was cleared.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene at the Lehighton American Legion just after 3 p.m. Monday.

Lehighton police, fire department and Emergency Management were on scene.

No other information was released.
