A brand new $150,000 quality stick building was unveiled on the property of Mahoning Valley Morgans in the Mahoning Valley this weekend. The facility will serve as an indoor horse arena.

More than 200 horse lovers and curiosity seekers attended the grand opening of the 80-by-200-foot building that features an arena for indoor training of horses, accompanied by 10 stalls.

The impressive building was erected by a five-man Mennonite crew that put it in place in just three months.

Building owners are Norman and Natalie Berger said trainers are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to use the facility. In fact, Debbie Gowens, a trainer working with the Morgan horses, worked out a few horses during the day-long open house program.
