Area students compete in Sixth Sense competition

The 38th Annual Sixth Sense Competition was held recently over three days at the Tamaqua Area Middle School with a team from Palmerton Middle School coming in first place.

Teams of six students from eight area schools competed in this event to test their scholar ability. The middle schools included Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, Northern Lehigh, Northwestern Lehigh, Palmerton, Panther Valley, Pleasant Valley and Tamaqua.

Over the course of the competition, 15 rounds were held to determine the winner in this double elimination competition.

Palmerton captured first place by defeating Lehighton in round 15.
