St. Matthew’s

St. Matthew’s Union Church, Packer Township, is holding a Memorial Day Meat Raffle. Prizes include a variety of meats. Plus one winner will receive a cooler filled with picnic items. Tickets can be purchased from church members or by calling Brenda at 570-427-8239.

The drawing will be held on May 17, after worship at the church. Need not be present to win. Members are reminded to make returns to Sandy on or before May 10.

Faith Church

Celebrate Recovery is offered weekly at Weatherly Faith Church, 202 Carbon St., on Thursdays beginning at 6 p.m.

Weatherly Legion

The American Legion Family Post 360 and Unit 360 in Weatherly will host Family Day on April 25 from 1-4 p.m. at the post home. Free food including taco boats, pierogies, hot dogs, chili dogs and desserts will be available along with children’s games and face painting.
