Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 260 N 3rd Street, Lehighton, announces the following schedule:

• Weekend Masses are Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 7:45 and 10 a.m.

• Weekday Masses are Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, or First Saturdays at 8 a.m.

• The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available 35 minutes before Masses on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m.

• The Blessed Sacrament is exposed for personal prayer on Thursdays from noon to 6 p.m.

• Divine Mercy Sunday Celebration will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Ss Peter & Paul.

The program will include time for private prayer, confessions, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Readings from the Diary of St. Faustina, Sacred Music, the Singing of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and Benediction. All are welcome.

• The C.Y.O. will hold an Art/Craft/Photo Contest Saturday and Sunday in the parish hall at Ss Peter & Paul.

The arts and crafts categories are open for children from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The photography category is grades 7 and 8 only. Drop off projects Saturday between 9:30 a.m. and noon. Judging is at noon.

• The CYO District 5 Spelling Bee for grades 3 to 5 will be held April 19 beginning at 1 p.m. in the parish hall. Registration deadline is April 12.

• Parishioners from Ss Peter & Paul make and serve bagged lunches for veterans the fourth Wednesday of every month from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Lehighton American Legion, 381 Bridge Street, Lehighton. Call the church office at 610-377-3690 for information.
