A Tamaqua business has been cited by the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.

Police said the Sidetrack Tap Room is facing charges for six violations.

They include offenses that occurred on Jan. 6 and Feb. 4 when a bartender illegally consumed alcoholic beverages while tending bar; and three offenses, Dec. 22, 2025, and Jan. 6 and Feb. 4 of this year, when the premises “maintained insufficient food items, eating utensils and dishes, and/or failed to provide food upon request” in violation of the business’ restaurant license, police said.
