A Spring Nature Walk with Gyotaku Art will be held from 10 a.m. to noon May 2 from the Frog Hollow Nature Center near Friendensburg.
Participants will explore the traditional Japanese art of gyotaku, or fish printing. They will create their own fabric print inspired by leaf packs found in the creek and learn how they relate to the health of local fish and bird populations.
Participants should meet at the parking near Stone Mountain Road. A guide will meet and lead the group to the pavilion.
The free program welcomes elementary-aged children with their parents as well as nature-loving adults.
