Entertainment around the area
Ian Munsick, fresh off of releasing his new single “Love is Blind,” leads the entertainment highlights coming to local and regional venues over the next two weeks.
The country singer, whose “Geronimo” preceded the latest single earlier this year, returns to Penn’s Peak. Country music also finds its way to the State Theatre courtesy of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, which blends country-rock, folk-rock, bluegrass and Americana.
The State Theatre also hosts comedian/actor Jeff Foxworthy, plus a show that should bring more laughs to the venue: “Menopause The Musical 2: Cruising Through ‘The Change.’ ”
Meanwhile, The Mahoning Drive-In Theater’s 77th season kicks off with the annual double feature of “The Wizard of Oz” and “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.”
