South Schuylkill Garden Club is preparing for its annual April Tea.

“Tranquility Tea” will be held on Tuesday, April 21, in the social hall of the First United Church of Christ in Schuylkill Haven, located next to the Penn State Schuylkill Campus on Route 61 south. The public is invited to join the social gathering for an evening of relaxed fellowship and light refreshments.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a social gathering and activities, followed by a program, “Growing Bonsai Trees” by Master Gardener Nick Watt at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available to purchase, and there will also be a raffle table to support the club’s community projects.

Deadline for reservations is April 7, and payment confirms your reservation.

Payments can be made via check made payable to SSGC and mailed to SSGC Tea, 120 Shoreline Drive, Pine Grove, PA 17963.
