Driver unhurt in crash on Route 33

No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 8:15 a.m. March 13 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township, state police at the Stroudsburg barracks said.

The crash occurred as Estanis Almonte Euasebio, 77, of Scranton, was driving a 2015 Toyota RAV4 northbound and negotiating a curve in the road when the vehicle veered off the left lane and hit a concrete barrier, police said.

It then crossed both lanes and ended up back in the right lane.

Police said that Almonte Euasebio then attempted to turn left to avoid going off the right shoulder but the RAV4 spun about 180 degrees and then hit a concrete barrier.
