Three people were injured, one seriously in a violent crash Wednesday afternoon in the village of Tuscarora. The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the intersection of Route 209 and Catawissa Road.

A sport utility vehicle and a pickup were involved.

One of the three injured was flown by Medevac helicopter to a Lehigh Valley area trauma center.

State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
