Panther Valley graduate and 2023 Times News/Lehigh Valley Health Network Baseball Player of the Year Michael Pascoe is once again enjoying an outstanding season at Chestnut Hill College.
The former Panther is in his junior season with the Griffins, having already enjoyed strong years during his freshman and sophomore campaigns.
Pascoe currently has started all 17 of his team’s games and is hitting .339 (21-for-62). Five of his hits have been for extra bases, including three doubles and two homers. He’s scored 11 runs and knocked in a team-high 21 (the next closest has 10). With eight walks to his credit, he owns a .411 on-base percentage and an .895 OPS. He has also stolen three bases.
During a two-day stretch (March 14-15), the PV product went 9-for-12 in three games with four runs and six RBIs. He also finished 4-for-7 during a doubleheader against Post on March 21, collecting a double and homer in the second game.
In his Chestnut Hill career, he has a .322 average in 102 games with 15 doubles, five triples and 98 RBIs. He’s walked 63 times to aid his .421 on-base percentage.
The Griffins have a 7-10 record with a conference mark of 4-5.
