State police at Fogelsville - crashes
State police at the Fogelsville barracks reported the following crashes:
• Jessica A. Schnur-Lichman, 51, of Kutztown, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed following a one-vehicle crash at 1 a.m. March 8 on Werleys Corner Road, Lowhill Township.
Police said she was driving a 2010 Lexus RX 350 south when its passenger-side tires left the road while negotiating a curve. The vehicle reentered the road, crossed both lanes and partially exited the road on the other side.
The vehicle then traveled across the road and hit a tree with its front end, spun, and hit a tree with its back end, police said. The Lexus came to rest on an embankment.
Police said Schnur-Lichman and her passenger, Joshua Lichman, 19, of Kutztown, had possible injuries but neither was transported from the scene.
Schnur-Lichman was cited for driving too fast for conditions, according to police.
• A 25-year-old woman from Effort is facing drug possession charges following a two-vehicle crash at 3 p.m. March 7 on Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township.
Police said she was driving a 2010 Toyota at the time of the crash. Upon investigation, police said she was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
• Joseph J. Harry, 60, of Walnutport, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 12:32 p.m. March 3 on Congdon Hill Drive, Lower Macungie Township.
Police said the severity of his injuries is unknown.
They said he was driving a 2012 Jeep Liberty westbound when he failed to maintain his lane of travel and the Jeep went off the roadway and hit a light pole on the right side of the road.
Harry was cited after the crash, according to police.
• Eric Gonzalez Munoz, 23, of Reading, had minor injuries after a one-vehicle crash at 1:41 a.m. Feb. 28 on King’s Highway, Lynn Township.
Police said he did not require an emergency medical services transport from the scene. Two passengers in the vehicle were not hurt.
Police said Gonzalez Munoz was driving a 2011 Honda Accord westbound when he lost control of it. The car left its travel lane, entered the opposite lane and then went off the right side of the road and hit a snow pile.
The car had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
Gonzalez Munoz was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed, according to police.
