One person suffered serious injuries after being involved in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Franklin Township.

At around 3:31 p.m., troopers from Pennsylvania State Police, Lehighton barracks were dispatched to the intersection of Fairyland Road and Indian Hill Road for the report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries.

Troopers observed a Subaru SUV at final rest with minor damage to the 7 o’clock position, and a Harley Davidson motorcycle was at final rest in the roadway laying on its side.

The operator of the SUV was uninjured due to the crash, however, the driver of the motorcycle had serious injuries to his leg and head and was Life Flighted to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest.

Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialist and Forensic Services Unit assisted on scene.
