The driver of a sport utility vehicle escaped injury Sunday morning when involved in a crash in Franklin Township. The accident occurred just after 9 a.m. in the intersection of Route 209 and Main Road.

Apparently the driver was traveling north on Route 209 when he lost control, with the vehicle rolling on its side in the middle of the intersection.

Franklin Township fire police maintained traffic control at the scene reducing the roadway to one lane in each direction. Franklin Township police are investigating the incident.
