State police at Lehighton
State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police responded to a terroristic threats incident at 8:21 p.m. March 4 at a property on Interchange Road in Polk Township.
A 23-year-old Allentown man told police the incident involved ongoing issues with his roommate.
• A 55-year-old Northampton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 2:38 a.m. March 3.
He was stopped in a 2011 Ford Taurus for a Motor Vehicle Code violation on Centre Street in Parryville.
• A 32-year-old Albrightsville woman who is an in-home care worker is the victim of a harassment by physical contact incident police were called to at 12:13 p.m. March 2 on Rosewood Drive, Penn Forest Township.
Police said she was hit multiple times by one of her adult patients. She was uninjured.
• Mark Romano, 37, of Walnutport, was cited for harassment after police responded to an incident at 1:15 a.m. Feb. 28 on Forest Inn Road, Lower Towamensing Township.
Police said they responded to an ongoing harassment/trespassing incident at the residence of a 48-year-old woman from Palmerton. She reported being harassed by Romano, an old acquaintance, who trespassed onto her property multiple times.
• A 57-year-old man from Kunkletown was cited for harassment after police responded to an incident at 6:55 p.m., Feb. 21 on Rena Drive, Polk Township.
Police said a 52-year-old woman from Effort told them the man refused to leave her property.
Police said he was no longer at the scene when they arrived.
• A 49-year-old Palmerton woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 8:42 p.m. Feb. 20.
She was stopped in a 2016 Mercedes-Benz in the area of Route 248 and Delaware Avenue in Palmerton.
• Two people were charged with assault/bodily injury after police responded to the Blue Mountain Resort, Lower Towamensing Township, at 7:27 p.m. Feb. 10.
They are a 19-year-old man from Warrington and a 42-year-old man from Biddeford, Maine, who are listed in the police report as both arrestees and victims.
• A 44-year-old woman from Parryville is facing theft/bad checks charges stemming from an incident on Hawk Lane, Polk Township.
Police said the incident occurred at 11:39 a.m. Jan. 20 and involves home heating oil.
The victim was listed at TKO Fuel Oil, Kresgeville.
