One person was injured Thursday afternoon when involved in a crash in Rush Township.

The crash occurred just before 2 p.m. in the area of 97 Ben Titus Road. Apparently the driver lost control entering the south berm impacting with and snapping off a utility pole.

The victim was treated at the scene by members of the McAdoo ambulance before being transported to a nearby trauma center.

The Hometown fire company responded with their fire police maintaining traffic control at the scene shutting down the roadway. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
