State police at Fern Ridge - crashes

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following crashes:

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:43 p.m. Feb. 25 on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.

Police said the crash occurred when a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander driven by Alissa M. Boutieller, 30, of Peckville, traveling south, struck the back of a 2017 Chevrolet Trax operated by Donna E. Wagner, 76, of Jim Thorpe.

Police said the Outlander was towed from the scene, while the Trax was able to be driven from it.

• Two vehicles were driven from the scene of a crash at 3:52 p.m. Feb. 28 at the intersection of Kinsley Drive and Veronica Lane, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said the crash occurred when a 2017 Toyota RAV4 was turning right to exit a parking lot to travel toward Weir Lake Road where it meets Veronica Lane. They said the operator’s vision was obstructed by a van parked adjacent to her stopped location. The RAV4 struck a 2019 Lexus ES 350 that had the right of way and was proceeding straight on Kinsley Drive, police said.

The RAV4 had minor-to-moderate damage, while the Lexus had moderate damage. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene by their operators, whom police did not identify.

• Clarice Phillips, 63, of Jim Thorpe, was injured after a two-vehicle crash at 12:24 p.m. Feb. 17 on South Old Stage Road, Penn Forest Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Regional EMS and Critical Care corps to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.

They said the crash occurred as she was driving a 2010 Nissan Altima that was stopped at the intersection of Nathans Way and South Old Stage Road when the operator attempted to cross the intersection and failed to observe a 2022 Ram truck driven by Alexander Fadrowski, 24, of East Stroudsburg, resulting in the truck striking the Altima.

Police said Phillips was cited for a roadway violation, while Fadrowski was cited for not carrying or exhibiting a driver’s license on demand.
