Senior Center

The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu from March 2-6.

Monday: Baked Ham, Macaroni and Cheese, Mixed Vegetables, Pineapples or Beef and Cheese Sandwich.

Tuesday: Raspberry Chicken, Red Potatoes, Corn, Fruit Salad or Salad with Chicken.

Wednesday: Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Peas and Carrots, Jello or Greek Salad with Chicken.

Thursday: Chicken Kiev, Brown Rice, Peas and Onions, Orange or Meatloaf Sandwich.

Friday: Italian Wedding Soup, Meatball Hoagie, Green Beans, Diced Pears or Egg Salad Sandwich.

The center has also announced the following upcoming events:

Movie and Popcorn on Feb. 27 at 10 a.m.

Wii Bowling on March 2 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on March 3 at 10:45 a.m.; Chair Exercise on March 4 at 11 a.m.; Po-Keeno on March 5 at 10:45 a.m.; Family Feud on March 6 at 11 a.m.

Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Nesquehoning

Hose Company #1

The Nesquehoning Hose Company will hold its Cabin Fever Basket Auction & Food Sale this weekend.

Doors will open for a preview event from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. on Sunday. The drawing will begin at 4 p.m.; however, you do not need to be present to win.

The kitchen will also be open during the same hours on Sunday.

Ticket presales are available through Friday by texting Terry at 570 778 3802. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
