State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported this week they are investigating the death of a one-year-old girl from Bath who was found deceased on Dec. 24 at 10:18 a.m. on West Main Street in Bath.

Police said they were dispatched to a residence for a report of the child “not breathing and cold to touch.”

They said upon arrival of troopers and emergency medical services personnel the child was past the point of life saving measures.

Police said the Troop M Criminal Investigation Unit’s Forensic Services Division, Bethlehem, and the Northampton County Coroner’s Office were summoned to the scene to assist in the investigation.
