Blas Antonio Torres, 76, of Jersey City, NJ, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026. He spent his last year in Bethlehem fighting cancer. Born on July, 26, 1949, in San German, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Blas Torres and Hermnia (Matos) Torres.

He worked at Colgate in New York for 36 years until retiring in 2006.

He is survived by his daughter, Anita-Marie Torres and her companion, Barry Hohl; granddaughter, Natalia Marie Devine; and sister, Minerva Tucci and her husband, Richard.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his two sisters, Lina Torres and Ada Vasquez.
