The 50th Annual Schuylkill County Band Festival is returning to the school district where it all got started.

Tamaqua Area School District will host 131 of the county’s most talented student musicians as they come together to form the 2026 Schuylkill County Band on Feb. 28.

Under the direction of West Chester professor Dr. Andrew Yozviak, the students have been preparing for months.

The concert will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the district auditorium. Tickets are available at the door.
