A Lehighton woman has struck it big to the tune of nearly $925,000 at a slot machine in Atlantic City.

The woman, whose identity was not disclosed, hit the jackpot late Wednesday at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino when she won $924,195 with a $5 bet on a slot machine.

Her big win came on an IGT Wheel of Fortune slot machine with a $1 denomination.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City has 2,298 slots, including a private high-end slot salon, plus 131 table games of poker, blackjack, baccarat, craps, roulette and more.
