The Monroe County commissioners approved the following grant disbursements at their meeting on Jan. 21:

• Fiscal/Grants — Amending motion from Jan. 7 to approve Continuum of Care Fiscal Year 2024 Subrecipient Contracts for rapid rehousing to Pocono Area Transitional Housing for Support Services Case Management, $54,554; and $30,000 for supportive services to Pocono Mountains United Way.

• Fiscal Year 2025-26 Continuing Adult Probation Grant, $157,867, from July 1, 2025, through June 30.

• Fiscal Year 2025 RASA/VOJO continuation, $154,653, from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 (Year 2).

• The 2025-26 State Food Purchase Program sub-recipient contracts for the 2025-26 Fiscal Year: Bushkill Outreach, $20,000; Christian Awareness Ministries, $9,000; New Perspectives, $12,000; Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network, $50,220; Pocono Mountain Ecumenical, $46,500; Salvation Army-Pantry and Soup Kitchen, $65,000; St. Matthews Catholic Church, $17,000; TOP of the Mountain, $46,500; Safe Monroe, $13,000.

The commissioners also ratified the following items:

• Agreement with KUDU Creative for Fentanyl Awareness Program for a podcast program, totaling $14,020 to be paid from the Opioid Settlement Funds.

• Opioid Grant from the Opioid Settlement Funds — Memorandum of Understanding and Agreement with AMZ Housing Solutions, $4,600 for rental assistance; and with Nehemiah Sober Living Inc., $20,000 for support programs.
