State police at Lehighton - crashes

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:

• Hank W. Fisher, 49, of Palmerton, was involved in a two-vehicle crash at 6:38 p.m. Jan. 12 on Interchange Road, Towamensing Township.

Police said the crash occurred when he was driving a 2008 Kia Sorento that struck from behind by a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Collin R. Miller, 26, of Nazareth, as he was stopped to turn left into a parking lot.

Police said a local towing service assisted at the scene.

• A 17-year-old girl from Cresco was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 7:07 p.m. Jan. 19 on Blue Mountain Drive, Lower Towamensing Township. No one was injured in the incident.

Police said the crash occurred when she was driving a 2021 Jeep Wrangler that failed to negotiate a right turn in the parking lot of Blue Mountain Resort and struck a 1996 Ford F-100 driven by Michael A. Robles, 22, of Lower Gwynedd.

Police said a local towing service assisted at the scene.

• Alexis H. Noble, 22, of Pottstown, was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 11:44 p.m. Jan. 22 on Jonas Road, Polk Township. Police said she did not require an emergency medical services transport from the scene.

The said she was driving a 2020 Hyundai Tucson eastbound when it traveled off the road onto the southern shoulder, striking a tree in a heavily wooded area.

Police said a local towing service assisted at the scene.

• Dean J. Knittle, 56, of Slatington, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 6:55 a.m. Jan. 12 at the intersection of Interchange Road and Rock Street in Franklin Township. No one was injured in the incident.

Police said he was driving a 2018 Ford east on Interchange Road and attempted to make a left turn, failing to yield to opposing traffic. The Ford was struck by a Ford Escape driven by Gabrielle L. Caccioppoli, 24, of Albrightsville, who was westbound on Interchange Road at the time.

Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene.
