State police at the Frackville barracks were called to a theft by deception (wire fraud) incident at 1:41 p.m. Dec. 2 on Catawissa Street, Schuylkill Township.

Reporting the incident were two men, ages 77 and 49, and a 73-year-old woman, all from Tuscarora.

Police said someone gained access to the victims’ bank accounts and stole $2,271 from one account and $27,562.01 from another account.
